I am not sure if this is a smart move. Computers, and paddling in the world wide web (surfing doesn't seem to be the right verb for what I do) can absorb so much time, which is a commodity in very short supply in my world. I have, however, enjoyed browsing a few local blogs, and thought it might be fun to have a go myself.
So here I go.........more to follow.

Welcome to the addictive world of blogging, darl..
You'll be adding HTML code to round out your picture corners before you know it!!
Thankyou for your post re: Boags vs Cascade - I was unaware of that fact. I wonder whether anyone could really tell the difference?
And welcome to the world of blog...my work-life has never been the same...
Beware, it's addictive!
blogging is great for connecting people with a passion for sewing in what would otherwise be a solitary hobby.
Hi Susannah
Thanks for your comments over at mine on my coat hangers and tea cosies.

Hi Susannah
We are planning on having a Tassie food bloggers lunch soon (late Oct 09) and want to invite local bloggers. If you are interested, can you please email me via my blogsite Contact Me facility?
Thanks
Thanks for leaving a comment on my comment on Peter's blog. I understand your trepidation with blogging. I'm summoning up the courage to start one myself. But as Mary Nanna has said it's great for communicating with others who have a passion for sewing.
